Today's golf psychology session helps you understand how to best maintain concentration during performance.  (This session uses an 11-year-old with Attention Deficit Disorder).  In order to maintain concentration during performance, it is vital to focus on the process and not the results!  It is therefore important to attend to task-relevant cues and block out any task-irrelevant cues.  When one feels distracted, one should try to refocus.

In order to improve one's concentration: Set specific goals to focus on daily and involve competition in practice.  This will help you focus in the here and now!

Dr. Patrick Cohn, author of The Mental Game of Golf and The Mental Art of Putting, helps you think like a winner and gain confidence in your putting routine.
